Education Associates provides a wealth of resources to help administrators and teachers as they prepare students for successful lives. These materials help administrators assess students' performance and attainment of skills, and record and manage students' progress through the systems. In addition, these resources help administrators with Summary of Performance documentation as well as document student attainment of skill tasks.

Pre/Post Tests
Each kit includes a Pre/Post Test assessment instrument to use before and after kit instruction. This will provide a level to determine the knowledge and skills gained during the activities.
Electronic Portfolio
A dynamic, multimedia CD that helps students record, organize and store school documents, job information, and work samples. The Electronic Portfolio serves as a collection point for the data students need to access and update during high school as well as a culminating product that can easily be customized as the student pursues further education and employment.
Certificates
Certificates of accomplishment are provided to document each student's completion of kit activities and attainment of skills. These Certificates may be included in the student's portfolio or IEP as a record of completion.
Work Performance Benchmarks
Work Performance Benchmarks are provided for the Career Development Systems. These Benchmarks are ready-made documentation for IEPs. They:
- Chart the students' progress.
- Identify tasks involved in each kit.
- Provide a competency-based approach to learning.
- Compare the knowledge, skills and abilities of the student to the actual ones required on the job.
- Provide a tool to evaluate the student's ability to perform tasks.
- Document tasks for IEPs.
Summary of Performance
Each special needs student must have a completed Summary of Performance as he or she graduates or ages out of special education. The Summary of Performance will assist administrators as they complete this documentation.
Education Associates has developed an electronic Summary of Performance based on the National Model Template developed by the National Transition Documentation Summit. This document contains a template for educators to use to enter key information required for a Summary of Performance.
Most importantly, the critical competencies and tasks that students have completed after utilizing our Special Education Transition System have already been entered into the template. This information has been entered in the "Academic Content," "Cognitive," and "Functional" Areas where appropriate.
This greatly reduces the workload on the administrator as he or she will not need to key in this vital information.
